    Question

I'm new to Super8 and am very concerned with not messing up my footage. I want to light with regular low wattage "house"-perhaps up to 100watt bulbs and use Tungsten balanced Film--Will there be sufficient light to do this and will there be any color problems? thanks.

There shouldn't be. If your camera will allow it you should set the f-stop manually and use a hand held light meter.

The color temperature will be OK (maybe a little orange, if your bulbs aren't brand new, and also because K-40 wants to see 3400 not the 3200 or less most household bulbs are. See other posts in the past about this).

However, I thiink there's probably not going to be enough light.
Get some cheap 650 watt movie lights on ebay, and if you're shooting during the day, open the blinds, use cardboard with foil spray-glued on one side to bounce light into the room, etc.
This has been covered extensively, so spend some time in the old posts and you'll learn tons of stuff about lighting, and how to do it cheaply.
